DUCHY COLLEGE VISIT

February saw 25 second year students from Duchy College spending a frosty morning here at Ethy Barton.  For those making their second visit, it was a chance to see the changes made on the farm over the year, including the new sheep race and lambing shed, now containing 425 ewes! A very instructive Q & A session followed with 25 volunteers eager to help when lambing starts at the end of the month!

HARVEST IS IN

Particularly pretty silage bales this year, as we join farmers across the country in supporting Breast Cancer Research, using pink bale wrap and donating to the charity…will certainly brighten up those dull winter mornings on the horizon.
